game update

since Ry was sick and then me i didn't start our game. I will start it monday. it will be all about us bloggers, loose connections! we will have word scrabbles and trivia...it will be fun! you can e-mail me your answers so we don't have to worry about who got it first.

I am finally feeling a little better, just a sore throat and some sinus issues now. Ryan is much better...finally!! he is finishing the last of his make up work from school.

nothing else really going on, just laying around trying to get better. i am going to a crop on Sunday which I am very excited about but not ready for. I have to get all my stuff together tomorrow.

Today is also Violet's birthday! She is 2 and by golden standards should now calm down and start to behave. I'm not holding my breath!!

Finally getting better

Well this morning was the first morning Ryan woke up with a normal temperature. For the last 5 days his fever has been between 102 and 103, he was miserable. He still has a cough but he is much better. BUT now my chest hurts and I am getting a cough...yay me. I have drugged myself this morning with the hope that is I get it early I won't be sick for a whole week like everyone else.

Bathtime

The pictures of Ryan by himself are the final step of removing chocolate and dog slobber from Ryan. The ones of Ryan and Mom are on Saturday morning before Joy's party. Ryan loves to put bubbles in the tub, now that we have the new tub, he puts in 1 drop and turns on the jets and they just fill up the tub!

Ryan is finally feeling a little better. His temp is around 99 instead of 103. He is still congested and coughing but he the fever was what was really making him feel so bad. Off to give him an other bath, he says it helps, I think he just likes having an excuse for bubble baths.

Sick Baby

Now my baby boy is sick. He is congested chest and nose, fever and just feels yucky! No time to post anything else...lots to come later. Joy's party and such. Also our game, we will start this coming Monday!!

Chocolate Removal Team

After we took the bowl away form Ryan the girls were happy to help with cleaning the chocolate off his face. They are so helpful!!

Cleaning the bowl

Ryan and Cathy made brownies for Aunt Joy's party. Once they were in the oven Ryan was helping clean the bowl. He asked if he could lick the spoon, I said yes, a few minutes later Grammy looks over and Ryan has his whole head in the brownie bowl. He loved it and was covered in chocolate. After snapping a few pictures we took the bowl away. He even had chocolate in his hair!!

Game Time

Well ladies I think it is about time for a new game! We need something interesting going on. There will be a prize for the winner. I just have to think of the game and how to make it fair so everyone doesn't have to sit and watch blogger to be first. Maybe you could all email me your answers that way no one can copy off of someone else?? Maybe a little blogger trivia? The prize will depend on the winner, something specific for them. Like last time Lura got the book she wanted. Let me think about it and you all let me know if you want to play a game again. Do you want to start this weekend or on Monday. let me know. I will come up with something good! It will be fun!

Books

I have a question for all you ladies. Does anyone have any Boxcar Children books? Read any of them? Ryan's teacher is reading one to the class now and he LOVES it, I plan to buy him some. I looked them on on the internet, there are 113 of them. Just wondering if anyone knew anything about them, could suggest good ones to start with or had any they are getting rid of.

Wii Sunday

Sammy came home with Mom and Ryan after church on Sunday. They played Wii. The boys were hilarious! They were cracking us up. They really enjoyed all the games but the boxing was too great! They were so funny, I kept having to tell them to move back from the TV because I was afraid they were going to punch the TV. Then they wanted to play tennis, so Sammy asked Kevin to be on his team. The 4 of them were so close I thought someone was going to lose their head. mom whacked one of the boys, Ryan I think and Ryan got Sammy once but the game went one. Sammy kept screaming "it's on now", it was so funny.

Post about Nothing really

I went to CVS this morning and got my medicines. All their Christmas stuff is 90% off, I got rolls of wrapping paper for 30 and 40 cents. They still had tons so if any of you want to stock up for next year hit your nearest CVS!

Nothing is really going on around here. We are cleaning out the basement, getting rid of all the crap that I have been packing away for years. Kev put up some new shelves and we got some new storage containers to sort the stuff we are keeping in. I have so much craft stuff. I can't wait to get it all organized so we can actually use it and find what we need. Ryan loves crafts so he'll be thrilled when he sees all the supplies.

Starting Monday I am going to start going to the gym again. Hopefully at least 3 times a week. Also drink more water and watch a little of what I eat. I know me and I can't stick to anything major. I just want to get a little healthier.

No major plans this weekend which is good. Just hanging out at home. Hopefully get some cleaning done, organizing, reading and my scrap stuff packed up. I am going to a crop on February 3rd. I plan to work on Disney pages. It is weird we got to Disney so much but I have the least amount of pages done on those vacations. Well after that crop I should have a ton done. I am so excited. I will post pictures of some of what I get done.

Waxy Aaron

The real Fun

We did our parrafin wax hand dip right after our parade. Everyone does it even the guys. Bethany dips every body part she can get in the little machine. that girl loves to play in the wax. She did her feet, hands, elbows and various fingers repeatedly. She is wax crazy. Oh speaking of crazy, everyone knows Aaron is. Well he was in really rare form that night, even

for him. He decided to dip his nose in the wax, oh it went on from there. He ended up dipping his whole face! He is a total nut, last year you'll remember we dyed his chest hair. I will post his waxy face pictures later.

While Bethany and Ryan dipped their feet, Julia and I got out the hair dye! Fun stuff! Then on to the Oreo Madness. I was so excited to use my new blender. It worked wonderfully!! The Oreo madness was amazing!

Later the guys got out a HUGE lego set that Ryan got for Christmas. They worked on it for over 3 hours. And there was 3 of them working at all times. It turned out great, but boy was it a lot of work. Ryan is thrilled.

New Year's Eve at Midnight

Ryan got his pot cymbals out and ready about 10pm. Everyone else got something to bang on a few minutes before midnight EXCEPT Aaron. So at midnight he ran into the kitchen and grabbed my huge trash can...he is a nut but it got the job done! We screamed and yelled on the porch and then did our annual parade around the house. It was quite loud and tons of fun! We really did ring in the new year.

New Year's Eve...pre-midnight!

We had enough food for about 100 people, we were all sick from too much food before half of it was done. We did eat all night long. It was all very good. We played lots of games, board games and Wii games. Everyone had premidnight fun. We missed the actually ball dropping because they had the Wii on and we didn't get back to regular TV on time. We only missed it by about 2 seconds. We went on with the celebration on the porch.
