Easter Sunday

Here are some pictures of the boys having there egg hunt at Ted and Joys. Sawzy and I were a team! We did well. There are also pics of the boys getting their Easter baskets from my Dad and Julia. Ryan was most thrilled about his webkinz mouse pad and his Boba Fett candy jar. Sawzy really enjoyed the jelly beans! They all got gift bags from Ted and Joy and also Bethany and Aaron. They had quite a loot!!

The Easter Bunny Came

Ryan was thrilled when he came down stairs and saw the Easter Bunny had come. The best part was his face when he saw the Webkinz Snake! He was so thrilled! Ryan gets a basket from the EB and one from Mommy and Daddy. He got lots of good stuff. He doesn't get much candy because he gets so much from everyone else. He got lots of books and a couple DVD's. he was a very happy boy!!

Coloring Eggs

I can't believe we colored eggs on St. Patrick's Day but we did. It is too early for Easter. Oh well. Ryan had a blast coloring eggs. He uses his fingers and colors his whole hands, at one point he had blue running all the way down to his elbow. The point is we had fun.

We are all off today. Ryan is down the street playing with 2 little girls Allison and Emily. It is so funny the difference between boys and girls. The girls scream the whole time they are playing, those high pitch squeals! I can hear them and they are all the way down the street in the cul-d-sac. I am still in my jammies. I slept in, it was wonderful.

Well I hope this makes our new post nazi happy! Yes, Carrie I mean you!!! JK

Township easter Party

The party was even bigger this year than in past years. They moved it to our new civic center which is huge and really nice. They had crafts, a cute little pad ball they colored, cookies, they decorated, games and gthe Easter bunny. Oh and a magic show. Ryan loved the magic show, he laughed through the whole thing. The guy was really funny and great with the kids. There was a ton to do and Ryan had a blast. I few of his little friends from school were there.

Friday's Purchase

well not purchase but lease. Here is my new car for the next 3 years! I love it. It has satellite radio, which I thought was stupid because I would never use it...well I love it and so does Ryan. We have radio Disney, plus there are like comedy channels, cosmo radio(haven't tried that one?). it is pretty neat.

Got my NEW Wheels

well we got me a new car. I got a Ford Escape...I love them. I had one about 3 years ago and loved it and they have made them even better. We got out of our lease 4 months early so I didn't have to wait for my car yeah me! I will post pictures if it ever stops raining, too nasty to go out and take pictures.

I am so tired and sore. I got hardly any sleep and like a dummy I sat on the floor at church and painted. We were there for about 4 hours and now I am so stiff and so sore. I am looking forward to a nice long hot bath and reading my book. I am on my 12th book so far this year. I am going to try and read 50 books, i read about the challenge on Kelly's blog and thought I'd give it a try. I LOVE to read!!!! I find it very relaxing!

Well that is about it for me. Have a magical weekend. Oh speaking of magical less than 3 months til Disney and I think we are going to go back in August right before school starts!!

Decorating the Fort

Sunday afternoon Ryan and Mom decorated the snow fort with food coloring and water. HE loved it!! The Fort was very colorful!

Sunday Snow Fun

Ryan was thrilled that Nick finally made it home from his Dad's in time to play in the snow. They played for hours. They really enjoyed the fort Ryan and Daddy, (mainly Daddy) made. I don't have any pictures of them making the fort, I didn't know they were doing it and Kevin didn't think to take pictures. Ryan and Nick also pulled each other around on the sleds. Ryan never get both dogs hooked up to his, I guess he forgot. The snow is melting away which Ryan finds very sad. I'm glad to see it go now and I am ready for Spring. Good news, it looks like it is on the way, my flowers are starting to pop up through the snow!! Soon we'll have daffodils and tulips!!!

Saturday Snow FUN!!

Here are some of the pictures from yesterday. Ryan and Kyle decided to throw snowballs at Daddy, so Kevin threw whole shovels full of snow at them. It was so funny!! They all loved it. The girls stuck their heads all the way down in the snow, they looked like bodies with no heads! They love snow! Violet tries to catch the snow as Kevin throws the snow from the shovel. Strange dog! Poor Ryan had frozen little feet after going out for only a few minutes. The snow was so deep his shoes kept filling up with snow. So I ended up tying bags to his feet, that did the trick and he was dry!

We had a wonderful day yesterday. We all played in the snow, then we had a fire and all sat around together in the family room all toasty warm. We haven't used the fireplace in forever, it was nice. Then Ryan and Kev played Wii while I had lunch and watched. Then last night we cuddled up on the couch and watched a movie. It really was a great family day!!!

Snowy Day!!

These are pictures from yesterday (Friday), only a little bit of the snow had fallen, well compared to today. Ryan and the girls had a blast in it. He went out about every hour, we made him come in and warm up and an hour later he was out again. He hooked Violet up to one of his sleds and had her pull him around. She did it a couple of times and decided it wasn't fun and refused to move anymore while hooked up. He is a little to heavy for her now. He plans to hook both girls up together! They will probably run different directions and throw him out but we'll see. The girls eat the snow as fast as they can, like it will be eaten quickly by someone else and be gone. Not this time for sure!! They also love to fight in it!! I got tons of great pictures today, I'll post those later. We are having a great day, hope everyone else is!!

Oh I didn't have to drive in the snow yesterday after all. Kevin left work at about 11:30 and then we went to get Ryan. We left our house at 12:00 and got to the school at 12:30, it usually takes me 3 minutes to get there. People were stuck everywhere, even in the school driveway. We had a much better drive home.
