First LaCrosse Game

Ryan had his first LaCrosse game on Saturday. It was freezing!! I thought we were all going to freeze to death, and the boys were running around in shorts. They had lots of fun and did pretty well. They lost but only by 1 point. I am looking forward to watching some in warmer weather. They were all so cute though. Ryan is #35, they all look alike in their equipmment.

Stuff

Ryan has his first LaCrosse game on Saturday. He is so excited!! We ahve to go to practice in this muddy mess outside in a few minute.

We have been so busy lately. Things have been crazy, he has cub scout stuff going on all the time. At our next meeting he will be getting about 11 awards and he is so excited. He is doing well in school and report cards come home on Friday.

I have buckled down this week and have started eating right and exercising again. I want to lose 30 pounds by the time we leave for Disney. It is a big goal for me...especial with EASTER, my birthday and Ryan's birthday between now and then. I hope I can stick to it. Kevin is back on the wagon too, I can't remember his Disney goal right now. Pray for us!!

I have lots of friends going through tough times right now. I feel for you all, I am praying for you all. Things will get better. Have faith!

Jump Zone

Last Friday we went to Jump Zone,with all the scouts who sold over $300 in popcorn. It is one of those inflatable places, but this one is the nicest one I have ever been to. It was really cool, we may do part of Ryan's birthday party there. He loved it, they played none stop for 3 hours. I even went into 2 of them.

McCormick Skate Party

Here are pics from the skating party from this month. Ryan did even better this time. He only fell a few times. I even skated this time. It was fun, like riding a bike it all came right back. It had been about 15 years since I had been on skates. he really enjoys the skating parties, looks like we'll be going each month.

UC Basketball game (Scout Day)

Here are some pics from the UC Game we went to a couple of weekends ago. Before the game the football team was there to sign autographs for the scouts. Ryan loved that part. He got a little bored during the game. His favorite part was seeing Lucy the Bearcat...the real bearcat from the zoo, she is at each game.

Blue and Gold Banquet

The Blue and Gold Banquet was very nice. We had a dinner and then they had games for the boys. This was all planned by the 2nd year webelos, (the oldest scouts), it was really nice. The boys loved the ice sculpture. Our den was in charge of the opening flag ceremony, my boys were so excited. Ryan read the words to the crowd and led the pledge of allegiance our other boys carried the flags. they were so cute and very proud of themselves.

Ryan was so excited for Daddy to get home. He had to give him his ice cream cake and present as soon as he walked in the door.

Cincinnati Observatory

We went to the Cincinnati Observatory with our Cub Scout Pack. Ryan loved it. They saw a telescope almost 130 years old and then the newer one. They saw how they open the ceiling and how to move the whole dome. Ryan got to close the dome at the end and thought that was the greatest! Unfortunately it was too clouded to see Venus, but we learned a lot and had tons of fun.

No More Floors...
