David's B-day

Well David's real birthday is Friday but we celebrated this past Sunday. Here are some pics from his "party". We cooked out and had yummy food. The boys tossed football and played cornhole. It was a nice relaxing day. We then had a fire so we could make yummy s'mores. It was a little hot for actually enjoying the warmth of the fire.

Memorial Day Parade

This was the ceremony at a Veteran's Cemetery at the end of the parade.

Ryan was very excited to be in the Memorial Day Parade with his cub scout pack. We had a lot of fun. He was very proud to have march and hold the flag. He was very cute.

We had a great weekend. I will try to post more pics later. I have pics of adorable Dexter and my girls playing together, my goofy brothers and some other pics from David's b-day.

My Birthday Boy

Unfortunately Ryan is sick this morning. He is very upset about missing school on his birthday. I am going to have to make new cupcakes on Monday for him to take to school on Tuesday. But he will miss hearing his name on the announcements. Nothing I can do about one. He is sick to his stomach and has a 101.0 fever right now. Poor baby. Hopefully he will recover quickly, he has a big weekend. His last 2 LaCrosse games are tomorrow and a pizza party after. We bought Popsicle for the team for his birthday snack there. Oh well have a good day!!

Ryan's 8th Birthday Party

Ryan's party on Saturday went pretty well. I was afraid is was going to rain so I set everything up in the house except the stuff we had to do outside. The kids seemed to enjoy everything. Their favorites seemed to be the obstacle course and the water balloons. Ryan liked the fact that they could just play afterward. He had fun with all his friends. Most if you have seen the pics on facebook so I will try to put different ones on here, if I can. Friday is Ryan's actually birthday, he is taking cupcakes in for his class and will do something special that night.

Prayer request

Kevin is on his way to the eye doctor, he has a bad infection in his bad eye where they did the surgery. He could lose his eye, please pray there is something they can do for him!! I'll keep you all posted.

Going ons

Hey ladies...and a few guys. Things are busy busy around here. I am getting ready for Ryan's birthday party this weekend. I have SO much to do!!


I hope everyone had a good Mother's Day! I spent most of the day reading and scraping. It was nice. I got a wonderful fire pit. We had a fire last night and made s'mores with kids in the neighborhood. I will post pics later, they are still on the camera.

Mom and I have a competition going on and need your help. We are seeing who can lose the most weight between now and May29th the day I leave for Disney, (she is flying down a few days later). So keep me honest, ask how I am doing, did I go to the gym or eat cake...get on me girls. The other thing that would help is if you all could send candy and baked goods to my Mom...LOL. I'm just kidding...kind of!! My goal is too lose weight now make her gain but I'll take the win however I can get it...ha!

We leave for Disney in 18 days and I am so not ready. Oh well I will concentrate on that after Ryan's party.

Okay, well that is it for now...On to get stuff done. Going to empty the fridge and scrub it today...fun stuff. Don't be jealous!

Ryan was very happy to have Blue Jays at our feeders, that and yellow finches. No pics of them yet.

Rotten Children

Some of you may have seen these pics on facebook. But many of my readers aren't on FB. I went outside to find Ryan and Nick both in the pond. Nick said it was their swimming pool. The only way they could play with their toads. They are so rotten! I threatened their lives, they are never to get in the pond again. They really didn't understand why it was unsafe and well just gross...that they were in there. Kevin had just cleaned out the pond so atleast it wasn't too gross, of course it now needs to be cleaned again. Kevin has done tons of work out in the yard the past 2 weekends. We got some bird feeders and a squirrel feeder. Ryan loves to just sit and watch the birds. I planted some beautiful flowers. The yard is looking pretty good. Well have a wonderful day ladies. I will post more often, I have just been busy!
