Junior Mr. Fix-it

Ryan loves to try and help Daddy whenever he is fixing something. Kevin has started teaching Ryan how to use tools. He has a board he works on all the time. He has cut it on a band saw, I think that is what it is called. Anyway he cut parts out of it, he has colored and painted it. Well this time Daddy showed him how to drill pilot holes and then screw in screws using washers. Ry did this all over his board to make pirate coins. He also drilled a hole and put wire with beads strung on it through his board. He really loves learning how to use the tools and takes it very seriously. He is actually really good at it. Although it does make me a bit nervous when they do this on my dining room table instead of in Daddy's work room. I love the concentration on his little face.

Even Sweeter

Today Ryan was in the sweetest mood ever. He made me and Daddy presents. He decorated bags and then made us our favorite things to go inside. I got a scrapbook page and Daddy got a hammer and golf club and ball. Then after dinner I go in the kitchen and he was washing the plates, he did all the dishes. It was so sweet he wasn't doing it for anything other than being sweet. We had a great day today playing in the snow and after hot showers we stayed in jammies all day. Then he is the sweetest thing tonight. WOW what a day. It's so great being a Mommy.

More Snow Day Fun

Ryan rolled in the snow, why is it kids can't feel the cold? Violet kept stealing his gloves and even a scarf, she is so rotten.

Snow Day Fun

Oh my we had so much fun in the snow this morning. We got all bundled up and out we went. The girls were crazy, they loved it. They chased each other and Ryan, which he thought was hilarious. They kept tackling him. Violet pushed her whole face down in the snow down to the ears. Ryan kept kicking snow up on Mira, she was covered and loving it. Ryan loves to make snow angels, he made them all over the yard. It wasn't even really that cold. I took about 60 pictures so I will post some of them, they are all really cute. I hope everyone finds time to play today. Ryan took the head off his snowman from last week and was playing with it, well Violet kept trying to steal it. When Ry finally through it down she rolled it all over the yard, it was so funny, she really worked hard at it. Ryan just kept laughing at her, it was all really great.

Levy Update

Our school levy did NOT pass. I am not a happy person right now!!! This totally sucks and I have a real problem with old people and most of the people in my neighborhood. I am very angry right now, at least there is no school tomorrow.

SNOW DAY

Poor Kevin is outside shoveling our driveway and sidewalk for the 3rd time. But the good news is we have a snow day tomorrow, NO SCHOOL! Now let's just hope the levy passes and this will be a great day.

Goof Ball

Here are some pictures of my little goofball from this month. He is so silly. I went in our family room one night to find Ryan laying across the back of the couch trying to go to sleep. The child falls out of his full size bed, I can just imagine him falling asleep on top of the couch. My child is crazy. I have also included some pictures of the dogs for Sonya, I know she loves them. She is such an animal lover.
