Man, this weekend seemed to go so fast and there was no school on Friday. We didn't do much on Saturday, I slept in which was wonderful. Mom and I painted all weekend. We are making background for a play at church on Easter Sunday. Then Sunday we had a baby shower at our Aunt Sue's house for our cousin's wife. It was nice to be at a shower and just be a guest. It has been a VERY long time since I got to do that. Audrey had little miss Jaelyn there. She is so adorable. We took lots of pictures of her. The shower was really nice, Carrie got SOOOO much. They should be set, just waiting for baby Olivia. Oh my I just realized she is naming the baby Olivia and her Mommy is Carrie. funny. The best part of the weekend was my wonderful husband cleaned the entire house and did all the laundry. YAY!!! Well I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!!
The eclipse was really neat to see. It seemed to take forever but it was so neat. Ryan loved it. We took some pictures and some video but it just doesn't do it justice. It was really an interesting thing. the next one is dec 2010 so mark your calendars.
There will be a total lunar eclipse tonight, starting at 8:43pm and ending around midnight. it would be great for the kiddies to see at least the start of it. I am going to try and take pictures and some video. Ryan is so excited!!
***Well I looked on the website Lura had posted and it said it won't start until 10pm. I hope the website I saw was right because Ryan isn't staying up too late. Just watch the moon people!***
I finally remembered the other deals. Walgreens has a ton of toys 75% off. it made most of them 1.49. i got kid k'nex for 1.49 also a 6 in 1 game table for ryan. great deals!
also for Crystal...target has all kinds of foot ball stuff in the dollar spot. some of it is 2.50 but they have tons of stuff. even little metal bins for storage. very cute stuff.
Here are some pics from Ryan's School Valentine's party. The kids made red scarves, the loved it and all wore them around for the rest of the party. They also had cookie sundaes, fruit kabobs, pretzel sticks and juice boxes. we played Valentine's bingo, which is exactly like normal bingo but you use conversation hearts to cover the numbers. The kids loved it. The big sucker Ry is holding up was his prize for getting bingo. The kids had a blast opening their Valentine's, they got tons of goodies. They ran around thanking each other, it was so cute. They all really had a great time!
