Sunday Snow Fun

Ryan was thrilled that Nick finally made it home from his Dad's in time to play in the snow. They played for hours. They really enjoyed the fort Ryan and Daddy, (mainly Daddy) made. I don't have any pictures of them making the fort, I didn't know they were doing it and Kevin didn't think to take pictures. Ryan and Nick also pulled each other around on the sleds. Ryan never get both dogs hooked up to his, I guess he forgot. The snow is melting away which Ryan finds very sad. I'm glad to see it go now and I am ready for Spring. Good news, it looks like it is on the way, my flowers are starting to pop up through the snow!! Soon we'll have daffodils and tulips!!!

Saturday Snow FUN!!

Here are some of the pictures from yesterday. Ryan and Kyle decided to throw snowballs at Daddy, so Kevin threw whole shovels full of snow at them. It was so funny!! They all loved it. The girls stuck their heads all the way down in the snow, they looked like bodies with no heads! They love snow! Violet tries to catch the snow as Kevin throws the snow from the shovel. Strange dog! Poor Ryan had frozen little feet after going out for only a few minutes. The snow was so deep his shoes kept filling up with snow. So I ended up tying bags to his feet, that did the trick and he was dry!

We had a wonderful day yesterday. We all played in the snow, then we had a fire and all sat around together in the family room all toasty warm. We haven't used the fireplace in forever, it was nice. Then Ryan and Kev played Wii while I had lunch and watched. Then last night we cuddled up on the couch and watched a movie. It really was a great family day!!!

Snowy Day!!

These are pictures from yesterday (Friday), only a little bit of the snow had fallen, well compared to today. Ryan and the girls had a blast in it. He went out about every hour, we made him come in and warm up and an hour later he was out again. He hooked Violet up to one of his sleds and had her pull him around. She did it a couple of times and decided it wasn't fun and refused to move anymore while hooked up. He is a little to heavy for her now. He plans to hook both girls up together! They will probably run different directions and throw him out but we'll see. The girls eat the snow as fast as they can, like it will be eaten quickly by someone else and be gone. Not this time for sure!! They also love to fight in it!! I got tons of great pictures today, I'll post those later. We are having a great day, hope everyone else is!!

Oh I didn't have to drive in the snow yesterday after all. Kevin left work at about 11:30 and then we went to get Ryan. We left our house at 12:00 and got to the school at 12:30, it usually takes me 3 minutes to get there. People were stuck everywhere, even in the school driveway. We had a much better drive home. Have a good snowy day!!

Here Comes the Snow

How exciting! Lots and lots of snow. Ryan is so excited. We bought some snow toys at Target on clearance and he was afraid he wouldn't get to use them. He is going to get to now. He has a 2 hour early dismissal. I am a little nervous about that, because the snow is really coming down and I hate to drive in the snow. So in 4 hours there could be a lot of snow out there. Who knows, we'll see.

We had parent teacher conferences yesterday. It went very well. Ryan is doing very well, he has moved up about 5 levels in reading. He is doing sooooo well. We were very excited. We now are going to work on doing his math and writing sentences faster. They time them on everything in first grade. I would freak out!

My dogs seem to be nuts. Ok that is nothing unusually but they are even more nuts than usual. The snow makes Violet so energetic, not a good thing for those around her. Poor Mira has to defend herself all day and they drive me nuts. I can't wait for Ryan to get home so he can run off her energy.

One more thought for today. It amazes me that a family of 3 can destroy a living room and kitchen so quickly and so often. Seriously people I straighten the living room and vacuum everyday and the very next morning, it is all destroyed!! It is just crazy. Dishes, socks, dog toys, boy toys....just crazy!!! hair everywhere...

Ok, I am babbling! I must go now. Have a wonderful snowy day!!!

Update on Life

Hey people! What's up? Nothing really here. But I will update you on my boring life.
We did get our new cell phones. We got the newest razor that just came out and switched to AT&T, which has much better plans!!! I have been spending the last few weekends painting background for the play at church for Easter Sunday. The good news is we finished 2 of them and are almost finished with the last one. i just have some extra bushes and trees to do. It should turn out pretty cute!! Other than that nothing much is really going on. How boring!! It is kinda nice to not have a busy life. So much of the year we run none stop! I have so much cleaning to do today, I need to get to it. Have a magical day!!!
