Updates

Hello ladies! I finished my 50th book last night!! Yay me! I still have a month and a half in the year and I have hit my goal.

Unfortunately we have hit a snag on the house. The siding didn't come in on Monday like it was suppose to. now they are saying not until the 20th! That stinks, it won't be done by Thanksgiving, oh well it will be done by Christmas. I will post more when something happens.

We had parent teacher conferences this past week. Ryan is doing very well. In fact his teacher said he is a DELIGHT. I want to know where the delight is when he is at home! I'm glad he is doing well in school. they had a big celebration for veteran's day today. they had 27 veteran's there, the kids sang songs to them and it was so sweet and touching. I just love Ryan's school. They sang about country and God. The veteran's were very touched.

I saw Twilight is coming out as a movie. I need to buy the book so I can read it before the movie comes out. Everyone has read it and loved it. I love vampire books anyway.

I am getting excited to go shopping the day after Thanksgiving. I have some Christmas shopping done but not a lot. I am really cutting back this year. I really am, I'm not just saying it this year. I got Ryan some great books at his school book fair, which I have been working at everyday this week.

Today my mom is rounding the corner and heading for 60!!! HAHAHA!! Today his Mom's 58th birthday!! Happy Birthday MOM!!!

The Lighter Side

enough of all the heavy issues. ryan went to the bengals game on sunday with daddy. obviously he was good luck because they finally won. he was so excited! he really loved it!!!

House Update

the house is moving right along. the old ugly rusty brown colored roof is gone!! YAY, no it is light and pretty gray/white. they tore a lot of the siding off today and put new boards underneath, i don't know what they are called, and then wrapped stuff on it to keep water out. kevin put a pull down ladder in the garage attic so we can use it for storage and it will be more convenient and safe to use. ryan loves it!

Halloween

here are some pics from halloween. ryan had a friend come over to trick or treat. also mom, dad and julia came over like every year BUT my baby brother who i have spent every halloween of his life with ditched us this year for a girl!! my heart was broken but we went on with the halloween celebration! ryan ran into a bunch of friends from school and they all had a blast. he really had fun. he and angie decided to quit early and just come home and play. we ordered pizza and they played until about 9:30pm. it was a good halloween even though david ruined our traditions and ditched us.
