My Mother's Day

My Mother's day was wonderful!! These are the presents Ryan made for me in school and in Kinder Haus. The vase of flowers and check book cover are from Kinder Haus. And the flower pot is decorated with Ryan's finger prints made into bugs and the flowers are pens. Ryan and Kevin woke me up with breakfast in bed. Wonderful waffles!! We really had a good. I got to take a wonderfully long nap, then we grilled steaks and baked potatoes. Kevin's parents and my Mom came over for dinner. It was a really nice day. I also got stainless steel pot I have been wanting from Cookswares. I then snuggled in my chair with my baby for a while before he finally fell asleep. I also got a ton this weekend. Most of the house, (the downstairs) is cleaned up, thanks to Kevin and I got 4 shirts embroidered and all the photo CD's for Ryan's class made. Very productive and nice weekend. Oh and we did lots of swimming. The pool felt wonderful. Well you are now all caught up on my life. I hope you all had a WONDERFUL weekend too. Chow ladies.

Wonderful Day

We had a really good day today. I worked in Ryan's class again today. Then I had to go to an appointment at a research firm for restless leg syndrome. I always get kicked out of the studies but I got $60 last time I tried it this time I got $40. Ryan was very good at the appointment which was surprising. He colored and did a workbook. After that we waited for Kevin to get home and went swimming for about 2 hours. Oh it felt so good. I just love summer. Then Kev went and got us some yummy dinner, Italian again, del meo's. Yum-o. Ryan went to bed with out a fight again a surprise and Kev and I have watched lots of our shows. The only unfortunate thing is I got nothing done on my list of things to do but so what. I will try to get lots accomplished tomorrow. I hope you all had a wonderful day too. Tomorrow I am back at school again, they are having a book fair to benefit the little girl who was killed this winter by the fallen tree branch. So I get to take the little kiddies shopping, I am very good at shopping. Finally something I can teach them..hehe. Well good night ladies. Pray I actually get something done tomorrow.

X-rays

I forgot to tell you all that Ryan had his first x-rays yesterday. He fell Monday off our porch swing, nothing unusally for Ryan. He hit his ankle on the concrete porch. He complained about pain but seemed ok. Later that night he said it really hurt, but it was bedtime so you never know with Ryan. he doesn't like going to bed and finds all kinds of excuses to prolong going. I gave him Advil and he went to bed. Well yesterday morning he got up and was limping. I took him to school and then called the doctor. They got him and checked him out. They figured it was just a strain but sent us for x-rays just to be safe. Ryan asked the girl when she was finished if he could see his x-rays and she printed them out for him. He was thrilled. He took his x-ray to Kinder haus to show everyone and took it to school today. All the kids were very impressed. As it turns out he doesn't have any breaks and he is already running around like the little monkey he is.

Wednesday

Here is a quick post because I am still a very busy girl. It was my day at school today and I am now going in the rest of the week. we have a ton of things going on for Mother's day and Mrs. D could really use extra help. The library came to Ryan's school today, they were story tellers called Dream Weavers. They told the kids 3 stories and they loved them all. I have never seen so many kids in one room so quiet before but they were all really into it, from our kids to the 6 th grade. I will post pictures tomorrow if I can. Swimming lesson went wonderfully today, Ryan finally floated on his own. He is doing really well at going under and swimming on his own. I am so glad, he wants to be a swimmer so badly! I have gotten none of my embroidery done but I did get the house a little more under control and some laundry done. Plus I packed a bunch of snacks and food and lots of pins for our trip. I got my mother;s day stuff bought and all Ryan's birthday presents wrapped. So i am making progress but it is slow going. I hope you all had a good day. I hope to read all about it tomorrow. See ya. Oh the pool is finally ready and at 80 degrees, no matter what I get done tomorrow I am going for a swim. I will post pics of that too I'm sure. you know you girls are dying to see me in a swimsuit...haha. Okay I will only post pics of Ry. Nighty night now.

Zoo at School

The Cincinnati Zoo came to Ryan's school last Thursday. They talked to the kids about animal habitats and brought 2 animals for them to see and pet. Ryan of course loved it. They all did. They saw a chinchilla and a bearded dragon. All the kids pet them both, no one was scared. They really enjoyed it and asked tons of great questions. They wanted to know everything, they even asked the lady to get out the globe and show them where the animals live. It is wonderful how kindergarteners enjoy everything and get so much out of every experience. I don't know when they out grow that but I hope it isn't anytime soon.

Shirts

Someone i think it was Amanda asked to see pictures of the shirts I embroider. Well almost every shirt I wear and most of Kevin's I have embroidered. But here is a picture of the ones I just got done. I am actually making progress on my very long list of things to do. I got a lot done for Ryan's class done today and also some shirts embroidered so that is good. I have a whole suitcase packed and most of our snacks and drinks bought. So things are going well. But I still have a ton to do.

It looks like I could still be right girls. Elizabeth could die and Jason will claim his son!!!
