Gallery Room

Here are the pictures of our gallery room. I made the curtains from shower curtains, I love them. I just got a GREAT deal on the Mickey mirror last week. And I finally have my pin trading dolls displayed. I know the pictures aren't great, I have terrible glare, but you get the point. Hope you all like it.

New Frames

We finally got all the new frames hung up. We finished the last few when Kevin got home from work. Here are the pictures. The pictures don't really do then justice but here they are.

Accomplishments

I have a very long to do list, not the stuff that must be done daily to live but things I'd love to get done. Well I or I should say we, have gotten so much of this done this past week. I have even started clean up my scrap room so I can get back to what I love to do most. We got some great deals on stuff at the Disney store.com so I have been doing a lot of decorating. I actually got tons of pictures printed framed and hung. We finally finished the "gallery room", it's our spare bedroom we painted with gallery stripes and decorated with all our nice Disney stuff. I will post pictures of it soon. I am so excited now, it is all decorated and beautiful. It's just what I wanted all those months ago when I planned it. I love it!!!! I have changed tons of decorations around the house, we are getting out lots of artwork and stuff we have had in our basement forever. I very excited we are finally getting done and it looks really good, well I think so. Some would call it over the top but I love it. Maybe you'll all have to come for a visit and we can have a little blogger party. Well I am off to do the dishes, aren't you jealous? I just thought I'd share my accomplishments. Chow

Ryan loved dressing up like Davy Jones. We had a lot of fun at the Halloween party, but I think I prefer the one in Disney World.

Disney's Junior Chef

When we went to Disneyland this year Ryan got to be a junior chef. The kids get to make chocolate chip cookies and then eat them. Ryan loved it. Well he loved the cooking he didn't eat the cookies but they were good. I got some adorable pictures and he wore his hat around for a longtime. It was too cute.

Dinners

I decided at the begining of this year that I was going to cook more. I love to cook but very rarely did it. I was so sick of fast food and we were spending way too much money. So I have been cooking up a storm the last few weeks. I broke out the cookbooks and have gotten tons of recipes off the internet. Tonight I made chicken and dumplings which were very good. I also made lasagna and Mom and Kevin LOVED it. I got the recipe online and it was easy and apparently very good. I am glad I decided to do this and I'm sticking to it. Though I do NOT love the dishes. SM

Meeting Jeff Corwin 2002

We got to meet Jeff Corwin at the Zoo's Member's Night 2002. The boys and I were so excited we LOVE Jeff!!! He talked to the crowd and answer questions and then signed autographs. It was really awesome.

Birthday Girl

Today is Violet's 1st birthday. She is no longer our little puppy. Here are some pictures of her with her new toys she got for her birthday. Today is also Aunt Joy's birthday, she is a little older than 1.

More Flashback Friday

These are pictures of Ryan when he was 1 week old. I can't believe he was that small. The golden is our sweet little Kelsey, she really loved him. Some of the other pictures are when Ry was about 1 month old. The one with David and Ryan in Sonya's bear's rocking chair.

That is me in the red dress behind my Dad getting his birthday cake, so I know it was the 4th of July but I don't know how old I was. The other one is when my Grandma met Ryan for the first time, May 2001.

Here is a picture of my own little corner of heaven. It's where I spend most of my day, pretty much everyday. It's my chair and my laptop table , even the pictures on the wall are my special ones. Figment from Disney World, they are pins we collected. The other picture is of Kevin's favorite Tinker Bell art and more pins that we collected and framed ourselves. This is all in my living room.

Peeping Dogs

Here is a picture Ryan took of the girls. They are watching him at his computer. Violet is using the steps that we moved away from the hot tub, so she wouldn't kill herself, to sit up on.

A Boy, A Box and A Dog

I wasted all kinds of money at Christmas. My son played for about 2 hours straight with this BOX yesterday. He colored, cut, played in and even got Violet to play in. She even fell a sleep in it. He has already spent a least an hour playing in it today. A BOX. What did I buy all those toys for, he still at the age of 5 loves the boxes. CRAZY. For more pics check Ryan's blog.
