HELP
Okay ladies I've got a hard one for you. I have a friend who has a teenage girl about to turn 16. Her daughter wants a sweet 16 party but has expensive taste. We need a good party idea for girls and boys on a serious budget? SO think hard and let the ideas fly! The party will be in the Columbus area. A cookout is an idea but how to make it exciting for teenagers.

The ideas are endless. When she chooses what the theme is I will brain storm and come up with games and all that but here are a few ideas for teenagers:(totally made up from my head)
Text messaging Party : Make everything to do with cell phones and all those crazy abbreviations for text messaging. A phone cake...etc. You could have games and posters on the wall with all the abreviations....
I just thoguht of this but you could do "16 years of Characters" party and have a mix match of all party supplies of characters she loved from her past....Have princess plates, strawberry shortcake pinata....etc. That would be so cool.
a certain color party, like if she loves blue, have a huge blue party with every single thing blue including costumes and clothing. You could have trivia on things that are blue. Party favors and confetti on the table could be blue crayons and markers etc.

If she will be driving soon, she could have a car themed party.......don't have a clue how but I'm sure Sonya could think of some ideas! ha ha
