Dayton Disneyana Convention

Our pin game team...The green pirates! They gave out the Mickey bandannas earlier that day. We won!!
David carrying about 95 pounds of pins on his person! He even has a backpack on filled with pins.

Ryan and Grandpa Smiley, these 2 really love each other. Ryan spends most of his time up ther with Smiley at his table "helping".

We had so much fun at the pin event. We traded tons of pins and shopped a lot. I got a beautiful Cinderella tea set, I will take pics and post them later. We won lots of prizes playing pin games. Including a really nice pin bag and Ryan got a Wii singing game. David traded for a pin he really wanted and was extremely excited. Fun all around. Things got silly at the hotel. That is another post with "interesting" pics of David!!

So I still don't understand the whole pin thing. What is it exactly? I love all the pictures. I can't get over how Ryan is looking more and more like you!!

Ok, where was this and WHY didn't I know about it? I am obviously not IN the "in" Disney crowd!
Looks like tons of fun!! We only have a handful of pins, but I can see Jacob getting into this big time.

it is a Disneyana convention. Lots of people selling all kinds of Disney stuff. There is always a special guest, in the past it has been Margret Kerry (tinkerbell), and the voice of goofy, Jiminy Cricket's voice. Tons of pin trading and the games all have to do with pins but you don't have to have a lot. It is really fun. I will tell you next time in advance. This one is always in Dayton, they are trying to get one together for Michigan next year too.

Will you post some close up pin pictures? I would love to see what they look like! Are these pins you get at Disney? I guess I am just not knowledgable on Disney stuff, I still am lost on the pin thing.
It sounds really neat though!
