Ryan had an absolute blast at the fishing derby. They had different stations for the boys, fishing, craft, snack, games and knot tying. Ryan loved it all. They put them into little groups and not with their friends, so they could get to know other people in the pack. It worked out great. Ryan caught 3 fish and was thrilled. All his little friends were impressed. Ryan got his pack t-shirt and his wolf handbook. They had a little ceremony to move each boy to the next level of scouts or to welcome the new boys. It was cute. Ryan's friend from down the street is a year ahesd of Ryan and at the meeting passed down his neckerchief and slide to Ryan. Again Ryan was thrilled and his friends were very impressed, none of the have gotten any of their WOLF stuff yet. It was really a great night for Ryan. He is really going to love being a scout.
