My Little Cub Scout

We got Ryan's cub scout uniform today. He was so excited!! He wanted me to put the patches on the moment he got it. I ate dinner first and then put the patches on. He wanted to try it all on and get a picture. then he had to call Grammy and tell her. He is telling her to check on here to see his picture. He looks too old in it!!

Animal Kingdom

Ryan rode the Kali River Rapids for the first time this trip, no one would ride it wih him before. you get soaking wet! Emma was happy to ride it, HE LOVED IT. After they rode it they got right back on! It was so cute!!

update

Rita's test went well. no blockages and the bypass is holding. she will be treated with medication. all is well.

Prayer request

Kevin's mom is having some test done today on her heart. She had problems when we were in high school and had to have a bypass which they think may be failing now. it isn't unusual they said it would last about 10 to 15 years and it was about 20 years ago. The test today should show if and where there is a problem. Please keep her in your prayers. thanks guys!

1st Day of school

We actually had a wonderful morning. It started by seeing a deer in the backyard. Then everyone in the neighborhood was ready early and outside. We got lots of pictures in our front yard. All the kids walked into school together so it worked out really well. They all seemed very happy this morning. We have 2 going for the first time. I hope they all have a wonderful day.

To get to Tom Sawyer Island you have to take a raft over, to get on the raft down by Big Thunder and Splash.

Barrel Bridge

Tom Sawyer Island is an island in the middle of the Magic Kingdom. You take a raft over to it and there are caves and a fort to play in. Ryan loves the barrel bridge, we all had fun.

The college program is like a co-op. They take off a quarter from school and work for Disney. They stay in student housing, little apartments.

Teri is Kevin's aunt and Emma is his cousin. Holly his other cousin just signed up for the Disney College program, that is why we went down this time, to take her down.

On Our Way Home

We are on our way home. We are somewhere in Georgia. We are stopping in a couple of hours for the night. We had a wonderful time. We really enjoyed having Aunt Teri and Emma with us, especially Ryan. I think poor Emma will need another vacation to recover from being dragged around by Ryan. She took it well and I think she had fun too. She is very quiet, so it is sometimes hard to tell. Holly got checked into the college program and is going to be a life guard at Typhoon Lagoon. She seems to like it so far and gets along well with her roommates. Poor Teri is sad about leaving her baby but she is recovering well. I will have tons of pics to post when I get home. And I will get caught up on all your blogs and all my shows. School starts on Thursday, so Ryan is nervous and excited.

Eeyore was very sad that Charity wasn't there and misses her terrible. Mickey is a little hurt that she hasn't been back to visit in so long but I explained she is doing her best. He can't wait to see Sammy and Sawyer in just a couple of weeks. Sorry Amanda no sightings of your man and, very upsetting news, his statue is even gone. I would have thought that somehow you got down here to steal it but there were other statues missing. Did you steal others to cover your tracks?

Florida

We are now in Florida. We are going to be on Disney Property in about 10 minutes. We stopped last night and stayed in a hotel and headed back out at 9am this morning. It is 91 degrees and sunny! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

Last of Michigan Photos.

The giraffe exhibit at the Binder Park Zoo was amazing. We got to feed them and pet them and even feel their little tongues. Charity would have really loved it!! Their hair was very coarse and they were very muscular kinda like a horse. They were actually very sweet. We all loved it, even Kevin!

Well that is the end of my Michigan pics, well not really I have a ton more but I won't bore you with any more. We leave for Disney on Friday, i will be able to post but not pictures, the only internet I will have is my bluetooth thing and my pics are just too big to post through that. I still have 7 million things to do before we leave. So off I must go!!

Updates

Well we leave for Disney in a week and I am totally unprepared. I am usually packed and ready to go by now. Oh well it is a shorter trip and we don't need quite so much stuff. I have been doing tons of laundry and straightening up. Also swimming quite a bit, it was so hot today. I have been going through Ryan's room and am purging TONS of stuff. I have about 6 bags of stuff for goodwill, we cleaned out our closets last week and got so much stuff to get rid of. It is so much work but it feels so good when it's done. I also have tons of boxes of yard sale stuff. Ryan's rooms are so horrible! But I am getting there, I want to cut his toys down by almost half but we'll see. I am doing well so far but he LOVES everything. I sneak and do it when he isn't watching. I also finished my 31st book so i think I am going to make it to 50 by the end of the year! i read non stop and i love it!! As far as the weight loss I am maintaining right now. I am still watching what I eat but don't make it to the gym very often, I will really get back to when school starts. We got all our school shopping done so we are doing well there. Early next week we will find out which teacher Ryan has and when his open house is. Tomorrow he has a play date to swim at a friends house from his class last year. He is getting excited and nervous about school starting. He loves the fact that Nick will be going this year. Guess that's it nothing else really going on around here. Have a great weekend ladies!!
