Books

I have a question for all you ladies. Does anyone have any Boxcar Children books? Read any of them? Ryan's teacher is reading one to the class now and he LOVES it, I plan to buy him some. I looked them on on the internet, there are 113 of them. Just wondering if anyone knew anything about them, could suggest good ones to start with or had any they are getting rid of.

Hey Cheryl! I usually don't comment on any of the blogs (still read them, though) but this one brought back so many childhood memories that I couldn't resist! My brothers and I used to be OBSESSED with the Boxcar Children!! We probably owned 40 or 50 of them growing up. You could ask my parents if they still have any of them. I doubt it but it's worth a shot. Anyway, tell Ryan that he has SUPERB taste... just like his aunt ;)

The mystery of the Lake Monster, the mystery of Outerspace and the Hurrican mystery are three good ones!!! Daws has these but they are all boxed up for the move!

You can get them at Train Depot in the Caboose section. They also have Sleepcar Adult books but they are to advanced for Ryan.I think the little engine that could inspired these books.Be careful there are always dirty men with nap sacks on poles hanging out there. As a matter of fact those children were probably left by these individuals. You would think someone would help those kids instead of just writing about them and making money..

Yes, we have a few of them. I'd have to check to see their names and ask Jacob which he liked best! I'm glad Ryan likes them!

I've seen lots of them at garage sales, but haven't read any of them.
