When we were in Disney in May Ryan got to take Jedi training. He got to fight Darth Vader once his training was complete. It was very exciting. We saw REAL Stormtroopers and everything. Ryan and lots of other kids became Patawans, (Jedi's in training) it was really amazing.

That is cool. Does every child get to do that? I would love to do that when we go in October.
It is only going on during or around Stars Wars weekend I think, They pick about 20 to 25 kids out of the crowd.
When we went in April last year they were doing it and Abby and Noah got to do it, but when we went back in August they weren't doing it.
As far as I know, they are going to try to add this as an everyday occurence. They had just added it at Disneyland when we went in October. My guess is it will depend on the popularity of it. If you are going this October, I think you will be fine, next October may be another story. With Disney things can change rather quickly.
